Shares of Constellium NV (NYSE: CSTM) surged 5.24% in pre-market trading on Tuesday following the release of the company's second quarter 2025 financial results. The aluminum products manufacturer reported strong revenue growth and raised its full-year guidance, overshadowing a slight earnings miss.

Constellium announced Q2 revenue of $2.1 billion, representing a 9% increase compared to the same period last year. The company attributed this growth to higher shipments, which rose 2% year-over-year to 384 thousand metric tons, as well as favorable sales price and mix, including higher metal prices. Notably, the Packaging & Automotive Rolled Products (P&ARP) segment showed particularly strong performance, with Adjusted EBITDA increasing 12% to $74 million.

Despite the robust top-line growth, Constellium's earnings per share came in at $0.25, below the FactSet analyst consensus estimate of $0.30. However, investors seemed to focus more on the company's improved outlook, as Constellium raised its full-year 2025 Adjusted EBITDA guidance to a range of $620-650 million, up from the previous guidance of $600-630 million. This upward revision suggests management's confidence in the company's ongoing operational performance and market conditions.

Jean-Marc Germain, Constellium's Chief Executive Officer, commented on the results, saying, "Constellium delivered solid results in the second quarter despite continued demand weakness across most of our end markets outside of packaging. I am proud of our team for their relentless focus on cost reduction efforts and commercial and capital discipline in this uncertain environment."

The market's positive reaction to Constellium's results indicates that investors are optimistic about the company's ability to navigate challenges in certain end markets while capitalizing on strengths in areas like packaging. The raised guidance further reinforces this sentiment, suggesting potential for continued growth in the latter half of the year.
