Shares of Five Below Inc. surged 8.45% during intraday trading on Thursday, marking a significant rally for the discount retailer.

The sharp increase follows the company's release of fourth-quarter financial results that significantly exceeded analyst expectations. Five Below reported adjusted earnings per share of $4.31, beating the consensus estimate of $4.00, while revenue rose to $1.73 billion, also surpassing forecasts. Comparable sales increased by a robust 15.4%.

Investor enthusiasm was further fueled by management's strong forward guidance for both the first quarter and the full fiscal year 2026, which came in well above Wall Street estimates. CEO Winnie Park attributed the outstanding performance to the company's successful customer-centric strategy, which included capitalizing on viral trends and effectively marketing to younger demographics. The positive results prompted a wave of analyst upgrades and price target increases from major firms including JP Morgan, BofA Global Research, Wells Fargo, and Deutsche Bank.
