消息称壳牌、雪佛龙、埃克森美孚、道达尔等均考虑收购英国石油
周五，英国石油股价持续走高，截至发稿涨幅超4%。据报道，多家竞争对手已就收购英国石油公司 “进行了评估” 。
据英国《金融时报》援引消息人士称，壳牌（Shell）、雪佛龙（Chevron）、埃克森美孚（ExxonMobil）、道达尔能源（TotalEnergies）和阿布扎比国家石油公司（Adnoc）都研究了相关数据，而贸易公司维多（Vitol）可能对该公司的部分业务感兴趣。
报道指，按分类加总估值法(SOTP)，英国石油资产价值超过1,200亿英镑，为其当前市值570亿英镑逾两倍。有接近维权投资公司Elliott Management人士指，英国石油股价持续低迷使其容易成为收购目标，又称Elliott已在英国石油建立主要持股。
报道亦引述瑞银估计，英国石油的油气资产总值820亿美元，但同时背负770亿美元债务和长期负债，包括2010年深水地平线(Deepwater Horizon)漏油事件带来的负债。
