Reliance Industries' Russian Crude Imports Drop 38% in April

Industry vessel tracking data shows that Reliance Industries, operator of the world's largest refining complex, imported an average of 217,800 barrels per day of Russian crude in April, a decrease of 37.9% compared to the previous month.

Following a temporary easing of U.S. restrictions aimed at stabilizing international oil prices, Reliance Industries resumed imports of Iranian crude in April after a seven-year hiatus.

The data indicates that Russian crude accounted for 16.7% of the company's total crude imports in April, down from 26.3% in the previous month.
