Jiumaojiu International Holdings Limited disclosed on 26 May 2026 that it repurchased 450,000 ordinary shares on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange the same day at prices between HKD 1.48 and HKD 1.54, spending HKD 0.68 million. All of the shares are earmarked for cancellation, with a 30-day moratorium on new share issues or treasury-share sales running through 25 June 2026.
Issued share capital unchanged
• Issued shares (excluding treasury shares) stood at 1.39 billion both on 22 May and 26 May 2026, as repurchased shares have yet to be cancelled.
• No treasury shares were held at either date.
Buyback programme status
• Since the current mandate was approved on 06 June 2025, Jiumaojiu has repurchased 55.47 million shares, equivalent to 3.97 % of the 1.40 billion shares outstanding on the mandate date.
• The mandate allows up to 139.76 million shares to be repurchased; 39.7 % of this limit has been utilised, leaving capacity for a further 84.29 million shares.
• Shares bought back but not yet cancelled total 49.62 million, representing approximately 3.57 % of the latest issued share count.
• Repurchase prices recorded between 30 December 2025 and 26 May 2026 ranged from HKD 1.52 to HKD 2.24 per share.
Liquidity implications
At the current outstanding share base of 1.39 billion, full cancellation of the 49.62 million shares awaiting settlement would reduce the share count by roughly 3.57 %. The company confirms that all repurchases complied with Hong Kong listing regulations and that all funds have been duly settled.
