HighTide Therapeutics completes HK$225.10 million share placement, expanding issued share capital by 14.73%

HighTide Therapeutics, Inc. announced the completion of its new-share placement on 7 August 2026 after all contractual conditions were satisfied. A total of 98.71 million shares were placed at HK$2.28 each, raising gross proceeds of HK$225.10 million and net proceeds of approximately HK$222.40 million after fees and expenses.

The newly issued shares account for 17.28% of the company’s pre-placement share count and 14.73% of the enlarged share base, increasing total outstanding shares from 571.33 million to 670.04 million. At least six independent investors participated, and no placee became a substantial shareholder. Management confirmed that public float remains above the 25% regulatory threshold.

Allocation of the net proceeds is as follows: • 30% (HK$66.72 million) for the commercialization of HTD1801 in its current indication of type 2 diabetes mellitus. • 45% (HK$100.09 million) for expanding HTD1801 into additional indications, including chronic kidney disease. • 15% (HK$33.36 million) for research and development of other pipeline assets. • 10% (HK$22.24 million) for general working capital and corporate purposes.

The company expects to deploy the entire HK$222.40 million by end-2028.
