CHINA JINMAO (00817) surged over 9%, trading 8.42% higher at HK$1.48 as of the time of writing, with a trading volume of HK$97.1 million.

On August 11, CHINA JINMAO announced that for the seven months ended July 31, 2026, the group recorded cumulative contracted sales of approximately RMB 66.702 billion (including, where applicable, sales from the Changsha Meixi Lake International New City project, the Nanjing Qixia Mountain International Eco-City project, the Ningbo Life Science City project, the Jiaxing Shanghai Window Smart Science City project, the Zhengzhou Erqi District Mazhai New City project, the Wenzhou Aojiang International New City project, the Jinhua Jinmao Future Science City project, and the Shanghai Hengshui City Operation project). This represents a year-on-year increase of 7.92%, with a cumulative contracted sales area of 2.554 million square meters.

Citigroup noted earlier that CHINA JINMAO, as a key beneficiary of the sales recovery in core cities, has proven advantages in the high-end product segment. Following an 8% year-on-year sales growth in the first half of 2026, sales growth is expected to accelerate in the third quarter, supported by more new project launches from September and a low base effect. With a solid balance sheet and low financing costs, CHINA JINMAO has the capacity to accelerate land banking in the second half of 2026.
