作为全球最大的汽车金融公司之一,Ally Financial Inc.公布的数据显示,第一季度消费者汽车贷款逾期30天以上的比例从去年第四季度的4.24%降至3.69%。衡量贷款坏账情况的净冲销率同样呈现下降趋势。
包括摩根大通和第一资本在内的其他主要汽车贷款机构也报告了类似的贷款质量改善。特别值得注意的是,第一资本的汽车贷款30天逾期率下降超过一个百分点,达到4.21%的水平。
这些数据表明,大型贷款机构尚未受到借款人局部困境的冲击。目前部分消费者背负的汽车负资产规模持续扩大——即车辆贷款余额远超实际价值。与此同时,次级借款人汽车贷款违约比例仍徘徊在历史高位附近。
