Kingmaker Footwear Holdings Limited disclosed a share repurchase in its 31 August 2026 Next Day Disclosure Return, confirming the purchase of 440,000 ordinary shares on-market at HKD 0.41 per share. The transaction amounted to HKD 0.18 million and represents approximately 0.066% of the company’s 666.999 million issued shares outstanding prior to the buyback.
Despite the repurchase, the issued share capital remained at 666.999 million shares as the acquired stock, slated for cancellation, had not yet been removed from the register by the reporting date. No treasury shares were held.
The buyback was executed under a mandate approved by shareholders on 28 August 2026, which authorises repurchases of up to 66.70 million shares. To date, Kingmaker has utilised just 0.66% of that capacity, leaving significant headroom for additional repurchases should the board elect to proceed.
Pursuant to Hong Kong Stock Exchange rules, Kingmaker is subject to a moratorium on issuing new shares or transferring treasury shares until 30 September 2026. The company affirmed that the transaction complied with all Main Board requirements and that there have been no material changes to the previously issued explanatory statement dated 17 July 2026.
