AK Medical Holdings Limited disclosed a series of overseas deals that strengthen its surgical-robot franchise and underscore the progress of its “AK + JRI” dual-brand strategy.
Between December 2025 and April 2026 the Group signed three export contracts covering four units of its orthopaedic robots:
• Country A in South Asia (Dec 2025): one K3 Intelligent Surgical Robot, delivered. • Country B in Central Asia (Feb 2026): two K3+ Robotic Systems, delivered. • Country A in South Asia (Apr 2026): one K3 Intelligent Surgical Robot, pending delivery.
On 7 April 2026 the company also entered into a separate sales contract for one additional unit and received an indication to supply a further unit before month-end, signalling sustained demand in 1H26.
Product profile • K3 Intelligent Surgical Robot: proprietary robotic arm, compact footprint, supports full workflow from pre-operative planning to osteotomy assistance and joint-stability prediction. • K3+ Robotic System: first domestic total-joint robot in China approved for revision procedures across hip, knee and unicompartmental knee; cleared by the National Medical Products Administration on 15 January 2026.
International footprint AK Medical’s orthopaedics portfolio reached more than 40 countries in 2025, positioning its joints business 12th worldwide. U.K. subsidiary JRI continues to provide regulatory, R&D and academic support, having completed the transition from MDD to MDR certification. The Group remains the only Chinese orthopaedics company holding CE marks that cover joints, spine and trauma, enabling 3D-printed customised implants to address high-end demand in emerging markets.
