根据财报显示，Sylvamo第二季度每股收益仅为0.37美元，远低于分析师预期的0.48美元。同时，公司营收为7.94亿美元，不仅未达8.3174亿美元的市场共识，还较去年同期的9.33亿美元下降了15%。公司调整后的EBITDA为8200万美元，利润率降至10%，低于第一季度的9000万美元和11%的利润率。这一业绩下滑主要归因于大规模维护停机和不利的外汇影响。
尽管当前业绩不佳，Sylvamo对未来仍持谨慎乐观态度。公司预计第三季度调整后EBITDA将达到1.45亿至1.65亿美元，显著高于第二季度。公司董事长兼首席执行官Jean-Michel Ribiéras表示，随着全年计划维护停机的85%已经完成，公司有望在下半年取得更强劲的表现，预计北美和拉丁美洲的需求将季节性增强，同时运营表现也将改善。
