Malaysia’s EPF acquires additional 2.0 million shares in IHH Healthcare Berhad

IHH Healthcare Berhad said Malaysia’s Employees Provident Fund Board (EPF) purchased 2,000,000 ordinary shares on Mar, 16 2026, increasing its direct holding to 1,133,502,300 shares, or 12.828% of the company’s issued share capital.

The shares are registered under Citigroup Nominees (Tempatan) Sdn Bhd on behalf of EPF, which disclosed the transaction to the company on Mar, 19 2026.

Following the acquisition, EPF’s holdings are spread across multiple nominee accounts, including 800,305,990 shares under the main EPF account and smaller blocks across 15 other sub-accounts.

The filing was made pursuant to Section 138 of the Companies Act 2016, indicating a change in the interest of a substantial shareholder.
