Midea Group Reports 0.02% Share Capital Expansion After Stock Option Exercises and Targeted Buyback

On 31 July 2026, Midea Group released a Next Day Disclosure Return summarizing recent movements in its A-share capital structure.

Between 29–31 July 2026, beneficiaries under the company’s Ninth Stock Option Incentive Plan exercised a combined 1.27 million A-share options at RMB 41.44 per share, adding 1,265,555 new shares to the register. The newly issued shares represent approximately 0.019 % of Midea Group’s 6.81 billion issued shares (excluding treasury shares) prior to the transactions and generated proceeds of about RMB 52.45 million.

On 31 July 2026, the company repurchased 200,000 A-shares on the Shenzhen Stock Exchange for treasury purposes at prices ranging from RMB 84.63 to RMB 87.71, with a volume-weighted average cost of RMB 86.19 per share. The aggregate outlay was RMB 17.24 million, and the repurchased shares account for roughly 0.003 % of the outstanding share base before the transactions.

Following these activities, Midea Group’s issued shares (excluding treasury shares) rose to 6,808.84 million, while treasury shares increased to 167.80 million. Total issued shares now stand at 6,976.64 million.
