iFAST Corp (AIY) said on Apr, 22 2026 that its UK-licensed subsidiary, iFAST Global Bank, will introduce “Worldwide Scan & Pay”, a cross-border QR code payment service powered by Ant International’s Alipay+ platform.

Upon its planned rollout in 2Q2026, the feature will allow the bank’s individual clients to make card-free payments by scanning Alipay+-compatible QR codes at more than 150 million merchants across over 100 markets.

The partnership makes iFAST Global Bank the first UK bank to collaborate with Ant International. Alipay+ is currently connected to over 10 national QR payment schemes, enabling broad acceptance for travellers and expatriates.

iFAST Global Bank said customers from more than 100 countries have opened digital accounts since Apr, 2023. The new service will debit payments directly from the bank’s multi-currency current accounts, which support nine currencies.

Group chief executive officer Lim Chung Chun stated that the tie-up supports iFAST’s goal of offering seamless cross-border financial services and hinted at further joint initiatives, including travel-related features, with Ant International.

iFAST Corp operates wealth management platforms in Singapore, Hong Kong, Malaysia, China and the UK, and reported 31.98 billion Singapore dollars in assets under administration as at Dec, 31 2025.
