Tennessee Governor Meets with South Korean Business Leaders to Discuss Cooperation

According to South Korean business groups, Tennessee Governor Bill Lee met with South Korean business leaders on Friday to discuss plans for strengthening economic cooperation. On that morning, Bill Lee and his delegation had breakfast with representatives from major South Korean companies including POSCO, CJ Group, LS Group, and Hyosung Group. The meeting was arranged by the Federation of Korean Industries (FKI). The FKI reported that during the event, both parties discussed expanding economic cooperation between South Korea and Tennessee, as well as exploring new business opportunities. Additionally, Bill Lee met with Lee Seok-hee, the CEO of SK On, a company currently constructing a joint venture plant in Tennessee. During his visit to South Korea, Bill Lee is also scheduled to meet with Korean firms investing in Tennessee, including LG Chem, LG Energy Solution, and LG Electronics.
