On the news front, according to reports, on October 15th, Li Lecheng, Minister of Industry and Information Technology, met with Apple CEO Tim Cook in Beijing. Both parties exchanged views on Apple's business development in China and strengthening cooperation in the electronic information sector. Cook expressed gratitude for the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology's support for Apple's development in China, stating that the company will continue to increase investment in China, further enhance the level of cooperation with China, and achieve mutually beneficial development.

Additionally, Huafu Securities recently pointed out that the impact of tariffs on Apple supply chain equipment companies should not be overestimated. Apple has extremely strict requirements for suppliers, and domestic Apple supply chain companies possess irreplaceable advantages. For equipment companies, Apple may allocate more resources toward new equipment and processes that help reduce costs and improve efficiency, such as flexible automation and 3D printing; or accelerate the promotion of new products like high-end models, foldable screens, and smart glasses, which would also benefit the construction and upgrading of related production lines.
