Kuaishou-W's stock soared 5.02% during intraday trading on Monday, extending its recent upward trend.
The surge follows Kuaishou's recent announcement of the spin-off of its Kling AI unit, which completed nearly $3 billion in independent financing at a post-money valuation of $18 billion. This marks the largest single-round financing for a global multimodal AI model company. Kling AI reported strong financial results, with Q1 revenue exceeding RMB 650 million and year-over-year growth surpassing 300%, while its March annualized revenue run-rate approached $500 million.
Analysts have maintained positive ratings on Kuaishou, with Morgan Stanley keeping an Overweight rating and a HK$65 target price, and CICC maintaining an Outperform rating with a HK$72.8 target price. The financing success and robust performance of Kling AI are driving investor optimism about Kuaishou's growth prospects.
