Oiltek signs MOU for SAF biorefinery project in Sarawak

Oiltek International Limited (M14) said on Sep, 10 2025 that its wholly owned unit, Oiltek Global Pte Ltd, has entered into a non-binding memorandum of understanding with SK SAF Sdn. Bhd. to cooperate on a sustainable aviation fuel biorefinery and integrated pretreatment unit hub in Sarawak, Malaysia.

The planned project seeks to transform palm oil mill effluent and decanter cake into renewable fuels, supporting Sarawak’s Green Economy Transition Policy. Under the framework, Oiltek will provide pretreatment unit technology and act as an associate trading partner for feedstock and product markets.

Oiltek emphasised that the collaboration remains in an early stage; no definitive agreements have been signed and no formal plans have been approved by the board.

The company urged shareholders to exercise caution when trading its shares.
