Easy Smart Group Holdings Limited (2442) reported revenue of HK$138.80 million for the six months ended 31 December 2025, down from HK$183.20 million in the previous year. The gross profit margin declined to 4.90%, compared to 7.70% for the same period last year.

Loss before taxation was HK$5.60 million, reversing from a profit before taxation of HK$2.40 million a year earlier. The group recorded a net loss of HK$5.10 million, compared to net profit of HK$2.20 million for the same period in 2024. Basic losses per share were HK cents 1.25 versus basic earnings per share of HK cents 0.55 previously.

As of 31 December 2025, the total original contract sum of outstanding projects stood at around HK$480.70 million. The board did not recommend the payment of an interim dividend for the reporting period.

According to the announcement, the fluctuation in subcontractor fees, rising construction material costs, and the competitive industry environment contributed to the decline in profitability. The group indicated that it aims to exercise prudence in project selection and cost management to address ongoing market challenges. It also noted exploration of diversification opportunities to broaden its revenue base and mitigate risks. At period-end, the group employed 61 full-time staff, down from 66 during the same period last year.
