DONGFENG GROUP Shares Surge Over 5% in Early Trading as Subsidiary Voyah Auto Submits Hong Kong Exchange Application

DONGFENG GROUP (00489) shares climbed 5.04% in early trading, currently trading at HK$9.59 with turnover reaching HK$226 million.

DONGFENG GROUP announced that Voyah's listing application was submitted to the Hong Kong Stock Exchange on October 2, 2025. On August 22 this year, DONGFENG GROUP issued an announcement stating that its subsidiary Voyah Auto will list on the Hong Kong stock market through an introduction listing, while DONGFENG GROUP will simultaneously complete its privatization and delisting. BOCI previously indicated that this transaction would achieve win-win results for all relevant parties.

For DONGFENG GROUP, which has been listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange since 2005, its share price has been undervalued for an extended period, and the H-share listing platform has lost its financing function. For independent H-share shareholders, each share will not only receive a cash consideration of HK$6.68, but will also be allocated 0.3552608 Voyah shares, providing attractive returns.
