Shares of Victory Giant Technology (02476) experienced a significant surge, soaring 6.24% during intraday trading on Thursday.
The sharp rise follows JPMorgan's initiation of coverage on the company with an "Overweight" rating and a 12-month target price of HK$600. The bank is optimistic about global demand for high-end printed circuit boards (PCBs), driven by strong artificial intelligence demand and specification upgrades for high-performance computing.
Company developments also contributed to positive sentiment. Victory Giant Technology's Huizhou base, which focuses on AI PCBs, is expecting new production capacity to come online in the second half of the year. Furthermore, its Thailand base has commenced production of AI product validation boards. Analysts view the company as a direct beneficiary of the ongoing Nvidia platform upgrade cycle, spanning from Blackwell to future Rubin architectures.
