SIGENERGY secures HK$4.19 billion from Hong Kong IPO; public tranche oversubscribed 1,102 times

Sigenergy Technology Co., Ltd. (stock short name: SIGENERGY) has completed its Hong Kong initial public offering, raising net proceeds of HK$4.19 billion from the sale of 13.57 million H shares at HK$324.20 each.

The Hong Kong public offering comprised 1.36 million shares and attracted 202,730 valid applications, translating into an oversubscription ratio of 1,102.05 times. The international offering of 12.22 million shares was 31.2 times subscribed. A total of 2.04 million shares have been over-allocated, which may be covered by the 15% over-allotment option or secondary-market purchases.

Cornerstone investors—including Aranda Investments, Goldman Sachs Asset Management, and Hillhouse-affiliated entities—took up 6.76 million shares, representing 4.84% of the H-share capital post-listing and 2.74% of total issued share capital. All cornerstone shares are subject to a six-month lock-up ending 15 October 2026.

Upon listing, the company will have 246.80 million shares outstanding, of which 27.44% will be in public hands, comfortably above the 15% minimum required under the Hong Kong Listing Rules. The top 25 placees account for 73.30% of the international tranche, while the largest single H-shareholder holds 14.92% post-listing.

Trading in SIGENERGY shares is scheduled to commence on 16 April 2026 under stock code 06656. A price-stabilisation period managed by CLSA Limited may run through 13 May 2026.

Existing controlling shareholders are locked up until 15 April 2027 in line with PRC Company Law requirements, and pre-IPO investors are subject to the same lock-up expiry.

SIGENERGY confirms compliance with all applicable Hong Kong Listing Rules, with no placee receiving more than 10% of the enlarged share capital and at least 300 shareholders at the time of listing.
