Prudential plc buys back 252,590 shares on Apr, 10 2026

Prudential plc announced that it repurchased 252,590 ordinary shares on Apr, 10 2026 through the London Stock Exchange for cancellation, paying an aggregate consideration of about 4.8 million Singapore dollars.

After cancelling 250,000 shares repurchased on Apr, 08 2026, the company’s issued share capital stood at 2,525,589,507 ordinary shares as of Apr, 10 2026.

Under its current shareholder mandate (approved on May, 14 2025), Prudential plc is authorised to buy back up to 262.67 million shares; cumulative repurchases under this mandate now total 81.36 million shares, equal to 3.12 % of the share count when the mandate was granted.

The company is subject to a 30-day moratorium, lasting until May, 10 2026, on issuing new shares or selling any treasury shares following this repurchase.
