The Securities and Futures Commission (SFC) reports that as of 11 May 2026, Weiye Holdings’ share register shows an exceptionally high concentration of ownership: 20 shareholders controlled 163.78 million shares, equivalent to 83.50% of the company’s 196.13 million issued shares.
An additional 25.73 million shares, or 13.12% of total issued stock, were registered under HKSCC Nominees yet remained outside the Central Clearing and Settlement System. Combining these blocks places 96.62% of issued shares with a limited group, leaving just 6.62 million shares (3.38%) in broader public hands.
Share price dynamics have been extreme. From 10 November 2025 to 11 May 2026, the closing price escalated 812.70%, rising from HK$1.57 to HK$14.33. The price closed at HK$14.34 on 22 May 2026, sustaining a 813.40% gain over the six-month period.
Given the limited free float, the SFC cautions that even modest trading volumes could trigger significant price swings and urges all market participants to exercise “extreme caution” when dealing in Weiye Holdings’ shares.
