Beijing Geekplus Technology Co., Ltd. (GEEKPLUS-W) disclosed that it repurchased 696,200 Class B WVR ordinary shares on 28 September 2026 via the Hong Kong Stock Exchange.
The shares were bought at prices ranging from HK$7.29 to HK$7.62, generating a volume-weighted average cost of HK$7.35 per share and an aggregate cash outlay of HK$5.12 million. All repurchased shares will be held as treasury stock.
Following the transaction, the company’s outstanding share count (excluding treasury shares) fell to 972.42 million, representing a 0.072% reduction from the previous balance. Treasury holdings rose to 51.73 million shares, while the total issued share capital remained unchanged at 1.02 billion shares.
The buyback forms part of the mandate approved by shareholders on 26 May 2026, which authorises the company to repurchase up to 102.42 million shares. Cumulative repurchases under this authority now total 51.73 million shares, equating to 5.05% of the issued share base at the time the mandate was granted.
Under Hong Kong listing rules, Geekplus is restricted from issuing, selling or transferring any shares until 28 October 2026, 30 days after the latest repurchase date.
