Data released on February 12 by the Xinhua Oil Price System indicated that the average price change rate for a basket of crude oils stood at 3.50% as of February 11. According to China's Oil Price Management Measures, domestic gasoline and diesel prices are adjusted every ten working days in response to changes in international crude oil prices, with new prices taking effect at 24:00 on the day the adjustment is announced. If the price adjustment is less than 50 yuan per ton, no change will be made, and the difference will be carried over to the next adjustment period. Under special circumstances as stipulated in the measures, price adjustments may be suspended, delayed, or implemented with a smaller margin. February 12 marks the seventh working day of the current pricing cycle, and the next price adjustment window is scheduled to open at 24:00 on February 24.
