Hong Wei (Asia) Holdings Company Limited announced a board reshuffle effective 15 October 2026. Zhang Yunhua, aged 38, joins as Independent Non-executive Director (INED). She will also serve as Chairlady of the Nomination Committee and sit on both the Audit and Remuneration Committees.

Zhang holds a bachelor’s degree in applied psychology from Jilin University and has completed advanced management programmes at South China University of Technology and Sun Yat-sen University. With more than 15 years’ experience in corporate and strategic management, she currently heads Guangzhou Jiqipai Artificial Intelligence Co., Ltd. Her annual director’s fee is set at HK$0.12 million under a three-year appointment letter, terminable with one month’s notice. The board confirmed that she meets all independence criteria under GEM Listing Rule 5.09.

Concurrently, Non-executive Director Chen Gang resigned due to other business commitments, and INED Zhao Jianhong stepped down to focus on personal matters. Both departing directors stated they have no disagreements with the board.

Following these changes, Hong Wei Asia’s board now consists of one Executive Director—Liu Yan (also Chairlady and CEO)—and three INEDs: Cheung Wai Yin Wilson, Guo Ensheng and the newly appointed Zhang Yunhua.
