NIO Sales Surge Past Xiaomi Auto, LEDO L90 Outperforms Combined Li Auto L7+L8+L9 Models

NIO Inc. has demonstrated robust sales growth with weekly deliveries reaching 7,183 units, climbing to fourth place on the weekly rankings and surpassing Xiaomi Auto. The company has maintained a clear advantage over Li Auto for three consecutive weeks.

The primary driver behind this performance is the continued strong sales of the LEDO L90, which delivered 2,331 units in its third week, accumulating 6,400 units over three weeks total. This positions the model as the second-highest performer in the large SUV weekly sales rankings, exceeding the combined sales of Li Auto's L7, L8, and L9 models. The manufacturing facility is currently operating at full capacity to accelerate deliveries.

The Firefly brand officially commenced deliveries in Europe last week, initially launching in Norway and the Netherlands markets, marking the fastest overseas market expansion in NIO's history.

NIO's G318 Sichuan-Tibet battery swap route has been fully completed, enabling users to travel all the way to Mount Everest using the company's network of over 3,400 battery swap stations nationwide.

The company will host a product technology launch event for the all-new ES8 on August 21st, positioning it as the "definitive work among premium large three-row SUVs." This represents the only premium pure electric vehicle model to undergo three generations of iteration. The new vehicle incorporates a decade of NIO's technological research and development achievements, with display units already being shipped to showrooms nationwide.

Additionally, NBA Boston Celtics star Jaylen Brown visited NIO's experience center in Hangzhou Future Science and Technology City during his trip to China, getting an early preview of the new ES8 and battery swap technology.

NIO believes that the strong sales performance of the LEDO L90 and the upcoming launch of the new ES8 signal the entry of large three-row SUVs into the pure electric era.
