Wu Zhiwei has been appointed as the Party Secretary of the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region Department of Natural Resources.

This update was confirmed on the department's official website, under the "Leadership Profile" section. Wu Zhiwei, a member of the Han ethnic group, was born in May 1976.

He joined the Communist Party of China in September 2002 and began his career in July 1998. Wu holds a postgraduate degree in Cartography and Geographic Information Systems from Guangxi Teachers College, along with a Bachelor of Engineering. He is also a senior engineer.

Prior to this appointment, Wu served as a member of the Standing Committee of the Baise Municipal Party Committee and the head of its Organization Department.
