SoFi Technologies Inc.宣布，其近1500万用户现可通过SoFi应用程序直接购买、出售并持有该公司发行的稳定币。
自去年特朗普总统签署《天才法案》为与美元挂钩的加密货币建立监管框架以来，稳定币市场经历了迅猛扩张。根据CoinGecko数据，当前流通的所有稳定币总市值已高达约3180亿美元。
SoFi于去年12月推出了名为SoFiUSD的美元锚定稳定币，目前市值约1亿美元。这家提供借贷、银行及投资服务的公司，成为首家在公有区块链上发行稳定币的全美性银行。该稳定币已在以太坊和Solana网络上运行。
此前，SoFi主要将稳定币用于内部结算活动。从第三季度开始，个人用户将能把SoFiUSD转换为区块链上以代币形式体现的银行存款，从而获得利息收入并享受联邦存款保险公司（FDIC）的保险保障。
SoFi还透露，计划在6月底前于前纽约证券交易所总裁汤姆·法利领导的加密货币交易所Bullish上线其稳定币。
