In a recent media interview, Yu Minhong, founder of New Oriental Education & Technology (09901.HK), stated that there is no barrier between him and his employees. "While there are hierarchical positions, employees don't feel like mice seeing a cat when the boss appears—terrified or fearful," he remarked.
"From New Oriental's establishment to this day, I've almost never lost my temper. There might have been moments when I got angry with my core management team, simply because they work closely with me. But with ordinary employees, it has never happened," Yu emphasized.
