China Everbright Water Limited (CEB Water) announced the dissolution of its Strategy Committee, effective 11 August 2026. The move is aimed at streamlining and optimising the company’s corporate governance and decision-making processes.

With the committee’s abolition, all chairmanships and memberships linked to the Strategy Committee have lapsed. Its responsibilities will now be fully handled by the Board of Directors.

As of the announcement date, the Board comprises one executive director, Xiong Jianping, and four independent non-executive directors: Hao Gang, Ng Joo Hee Peter, Soh Kok Leong and Chan Pui Shan Sandy. The notice was signed by Legal Counsel and Joint Company Secretary Kwan Yun Fui in Hong Kong SAR and Singapore.
