BINHAI INV Subsidiary Changle Taida Gas Advances Old Gas Pipeline Renovation, Enhancing Public Welfare and Safety

To solidly advance the renovation and upgrading of aging urban gas pipelines and strengthen the city's gas supply safety defense line, Changle Taida Gas, a subsidiary of BINHAI INV, has strictly implemented the special treatment requirements for gas pipelines "operating with defects" and the deployment of the "Implementation Plan for Aging Gas Pipeline Renovation and Upgrading in Cities (2022-2025)". The company has actively carried out indoor riser renovations in old residential communities, comprehensively improving pipeline operation safety levels and safeguarding residents' gas usage safety.

The Gushan Street Construction Bureau Family Compound in Changle County has been connected to natural gas since 2001. Some pipeline facilities are approaching their design service life, particularly the early-used seamless steel pipes and galvanized pipes, which are prone to corrosion in humid environments, leading to gas leaks. Previously, Changle Taida Gas had already upgraded this community twice: in 2019, gas meters were replaced with IoT smart remote transmission meters, and in 2023, buried pipelines were converted to overhead pipelines.

This renovation focuses on core safety hazards by implementing indoor riser "inside-to-outside" conversion - removing original indoor risers, completely replacing them with new pipes and relocating them outdoors, while simultaneously updating indoor gas facilities and installing gas alarm shut-off valves, providing a one-stop solution to pipeline aging and indoor safety issues.

To accelerate the renovation process, staff distributed renovation notices and precautions in advance, with dedicated personnel coordinating with property management and communities to promote progress. For long-term vacant properties, they conducted door-to-door phone notifications and scheduled construction times. Currently, the gas pipeline renovation in this community is nearing completion.

During construction, upon completing each string of riser installations, operation personnel strictly followed procedures to conduct pressure tests and gas tightness inspections, going door-to-door to connect gas and ignite appliances while providing safety education. On-site supervisors monitored construction quality throughout the entire process, ensuring zero defects in the renovation project.

"I've lived in this community for over 20 years, and I was most worried about gas pipeline leaks! Now that the pipelines have been moved outside the building, it's much safer, maintenance is more convenient, and all the kitchen facilities have been completely renewed. I feel much more at ease using gas now!" said Mr. Dong, a community resident, expressing the sentiments of all residents.

Moving forward, Changle Taida Gas will continue to advance old pipeline network renovations, strengthen safety publicity and process supervision, accelerate renovation progress, and strive to complete tasks as soon as possible, allowing residents to use "worry-free gas" and effectively enhancing people's sense of gain, happiness, and security.
