A new production line project, designed to manufacture 500 welding robots and 500 CNC machine tools along with their components annually, officially broke ground on September 12th at the Mingjue Industrial Park in Shiqiu Sub-district, Lishui District.
The project is funded by Nanjing Tuolingzhi Automation Technology Co., Ltd., with a total investment of 510 million yuan, and is designated as one of the city's key projects for 2026. Once operational, it is expected to further strengthen the intelligent equipment industry chain at the Mingjue Industrial Park and support the agglomeration and growth of the high-end equipment manufacturing sector in Lishui District.
Nanjing Tuolingzhi is a high-end equipment manufacturing enterprise strategically introduced by Lishui District. Its core business encompasses the research, development, manufacturing, and sales of intelligent foundational manufacturing equipment, CNC machine tools, industrial robots, and industrial automation control systems. The company's scope extends to the R&D and production of machine tool functional components, precision parts, and molds, and it holds qualifications for metal cutting services, as well as import and export trading, providing complete equipment and supporting solutions to the advanced manufacturing industry.
It has been revealed that Zhang Min, General Manager of Nanjing Tuolingzhi Automation Technology Co., Ltd., is a native of Shiqiu. After graduating from junior high in 1992, he went on to study at the University of Electronic Science and Technology of China in Chengdu. Having worked in several cities across the country over the years, he maintained a strong connection to his hometown. He decided to return and establish the business here, expressing a commitment to developing the intelligent manufacturing industry and contributing to the region's industrial upgrades.
The project occupies approximately 28 mu of land with a new building area of about 30,000 square meters. Construction is projected to be completed by 2027. Upon reaching full operation, it will boast an annual production capacity of 500 welding robots and 500 CNC machine tools and parts, with an estimated annual output value of 200 million yuan.
Officials from Shiqiu Sub-district have stated that they will continue to enhance the business environment, providing proactive services and implementing a full-cycle project service mechanism. The focus will be on addressing issues arising during construction to ensure the project is completed and becomes operational at the earliest opportunity.
Projects serve as the cornerstone of development. In recent years, Lishui District has adhered to a project-centric approach, focusing on both investment attraction and project execution. The number of provincial and municipal major projects has hit new records for six consecutive years. This year, the district has 66 projects listed as provincial or municipal key initiatives, of which 30 are new construction projects. To date, 29 of these have begun, achieving a start rate of 96.7%.
