Sichuan Province Signs Strategic Cooperation Agreement with CHINA TELECOM

On November 10, the Sichuan Provincial Government signed a strategic cooperation agreement with CHINA TELECOM in Chengdu. Provincial Party Secretary and Director of the Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Congress Wang Xiaohui, along with Governor Shi Xiaolin, met with CHINA TELECOM's Party Secretary and Chairman Ke Ruiwen and witnessed the signing ceremony.

During the meeting, both parties discussed leveraging the opportunities presented by the Chengdu-Chongqing economic circle and combining Sichuan's resources and industrial advantages with CHINA TELECOM's digital technology expertise. Key areas of cooperation include strengthening digital infrastructure, advancing industrial digital transformation, fostering digital economic growth, promoting technological innovation, and accelerating the development of new productive forces to support Sichuan's high-quality economic and social development.

At the signing ceremony, CHINA TELECOM Vice President Tang Ke introduced the company's support platform for AI and quantum technology development in Sichuan. Vice Governor Hu Yun and Tang Ke signed the agreement on behalf of both parties. The agreement focuses on deep integration of the real economy and digital economy, covering collaboration in computing power clusters, information security, smart city development, intelligent manufacturing transformation, low-altitude economy, and talent exchange.

Provincial leaders and relevant officials attended the meeting and signing ceremony.
