希基分析，这两部电影将争夺重叠的观众群体，更重要的是，它们将激烈争夺优质格式的影厅资源。《沙丘：第三部》拥有为期三周的IMAX独家放映窗口，并辅以IMAX 70毫米胶片格式的推广，这很可能使迪士尼自家新推出的“无限视界”巨幕技术相形见绌。希基补充道，这项新技术缺乏消费者认知度、已建立的品牌优势以及差异化的技术卖点。
