HKC International Holdings Limited announced that its wholly owned subsidiary, Generalvestor (HK) Limited, signed a provisional sale and purchase agreement on 21 August 2026 to dispose of Workshop B7 on the eighth floor of Block B, Hong Kong Industrial Centre, Kowloon. The 2,860-square-foot property will be sold to Multiplex Glory Limited for HK$10.38 million in cash.
Under the payment schedule, the purchaser has paid an initial deposit of HK$0.52 million and will remit a further HK$0.52 million on or before 3 September 2026, with the remaining HK$9.34 million due at completion no later than 18 November 2026.
Based on the property’s audited carrying value of HK$11.90 million as of 31 March 2026 and estimated disposal expenses of HK$0.20 million, the group expects to recognise an estimated disposal loss of HK$1.72 million in the fiscal year ending 31 March 2027. Net proceeds of roughly HK$10.18 million are earmarked for bank-loan repayment and general working-capital needs.
For the fiscal years ended 31 March 2025 and 2026, the property generated revenue of HK$0.21 million and HK$0.63 million, respectively, but posted net losses after tax of HK$1.82 million and HK$0.79 million, primarily due to fair-value declines of HK$1.90 million and HK$1.30 million.
The transaction qualifies as a discloseable transaction under Hong Kong Listing Rules, as relevant percentage ratios fall between 5% and 25%. HKC International’s board considers the disposal a strategic move to lower gearing, cut interest expenses and strengthen the balance sheet.
