LAI FUNG HOLD (01125) has announced its financial performance for the year ended July 31, 2025, reporting a revenue of approximately HKD 1.291 billion, representing a year-on-year increase of 41.11%. The loss attributable to shareholders amounted to approximately HKD 419 million, a year-on-year increase of 56.7%, with a loss per share of HKD 1.267. The announcement indicated that the increase in loss was primarily due to: (i) a significant reduction in sales as nearly all property projects have been sold out; and (ii) a fair value loss on investment properties recorded during the review year, compared to a fair value gain in the previous fiscal year. This increase in loss was partially offset by improvements in administrative expenses, other operating costs, and financing costs.
