Xinte Energy (01799) experienced another sharp decline, falling over 8%. As of the time of writing, the stock was down 6.83%, trading at HK$7.09, with a turnover of HK$19.88 million.
On the news front, TrendForce previously released a report indicating that inventory levels in the polysilicon industry are elevated, with total volumes exceeding 510,000 metric tons and continuing to accumulate.
Soochow Securities pointed out that regarding the short-term price trend for silicon materials, production scheduling across the industrial chain has not shown significant improvement due to the approaching Spring Festival and the surge in silver prices, leading to limited demand for silicon material procurement; it is more likely that silicon material prices will remain weak but stable overall.
