According to Shaanxi Construction Iron and Steel Corporation, on October 16, the groundbreaking ceremony for the Zhidan 200MW/600MWh grid-type independent energy storage project, constructed by the company, was successfully held. The Zhidan 200MW/600MWh grid-type independent energy storage project is located in Zhidan County, Yan'an City, Shaanxi Province, and is a key project for Yan'an City in 2025. The total estimated investment for the project is 810 million yuan, and it is expected to generate an annual operating income of 140 million yuan upon completion. The energy storage project will include the construction of a 110kV booster station, and its electrochemical energy storage system will mainly consist of various systems, including energy storage battery systems (including storage batteries and battery management systems), power conversion systems (PCS), onsite booster systems, collection lines, lightning protection grounding systems, and power supply systems. Once completed, the project will deliver approximately 260 million kWh of clean electricity annually, which is equivalent to meeting the electricity needs of 120,000 households for an entire year, while reducing carbon dioxide emissions by over 200,000 tons, thereby contributing effectively to the achievement of the "dual carbon" goals.
