WL DELICIOUS (09985) Donates HK$3 Million to Hong Kong Tai Po Fire Relief for Victim Resettlement and Living Allowances

On December 3, WL DELICIOUS (09985) announced via social media that it has donated HK$3 million through the Hong Kong Red Cross Foundation to support relief efforts for victims of the Tai Po fire in Hong Kong. The fire, which broke out on the afternoon of November 26 in multiple residential buildings at Hong Fuk Court, Tai Po, resulted in significant casualties and property damage.

The company stated that the funds will be specifically allocated to provide temporary housing assistance and daily living allowances for affected residents. WL DELICIOUS expressed its respect for firefighters, medical personnel, and other frontline responders, adding, "Our hearts are with Hong Kong—united in solidarity. We stand together to support the city and pray for a swift recovery."

This donation marks one of the recent corporate philanthropic initiatives following the Hong Kong fire incident. Currently, the Hong Kong SAR government is coordinating post-disaster resettlement efforts, working alongside various sectors to help affected residents rebuild their lives.
