SDHS New Energy: March 2026 Power Generation Down 22.4%; Q1 Output Falls 13.2%

Shandong Hi-Speed New Energy Group Limited (SDHS New Energy) disclosed preliminary production data for March 2026, indicating weaker output across both solar and wind portfolios.

Group-level performance • Operating power generation from all projects—covering subsidiaries, associates and joint ventures—reached 539,615 MWh in March 2026. • For the three months ended 31 March 2026, cumulative output totaled 1.49 million MWh.

Mainland China subsidiary portfolio Centralized photovoltaic (PV) plants • March output: 211,944 MWh, a 10.6% year-on-year decline. • Q1 output: 561,311 MWh, down 12.3% versus the same period in 2025. • Notable gains were recorded in Shanxi Province (+55.0% YoY for March, +63.7% YTD), Ningxia (+16.8% YTD) and Jilin (+21.9% YoY for March). The steepest monthly contractions came from Guangdong (-34.7%) and Henan (-20.7%).

Wind power plants • March output: 241,528 MWh, down 30.5% year-on-year. • Q1 output: 737,338 MWh, a 13.9% decrease from the prior-year period. • Xinjiang exhibited relative resilience (-2.8% YoY for March), while Shanxi posted the sharpest monthly drop (-62.3%).

Combined subsidiary performance • Total March production from PV and wind assets stood at 453,472 MWh, representing a 22.4% year-on-year fall. • Q1 combined output reached 1.30 million MWh, 13.2% lower than the corresponding period in 2025.
