Nextpower (NXT) surged 8.17% during intraday trading on Thursday, staging a strong recovery after declining more than 13% over the prior two sessions. The rally was fueled by a broad rebound across the Electrical Components & Equipment sector, which saw widespread gains including nVent Electric up 8.19%, Eaton up 6.25%, and Vertiv up 4.84%.

Investor sentiment was further lifted ahead of the company's quarterly earnings report scheduled for release after the market close. Consensus estimates project revenue of approximately $933 million, representing 9.76% year-over-year growth, and adjusted earnings per share of around $1.06. The company has also been active on the acquisition front, recently completing its purchase of Prevalon Energy to enter the battery energy storage and AI data center markets, and announcing a planned acquisition of Germany-based Zimmermann PV-Steel for up to 330 million euros to expand its international solar portfolio.

Adding to the positive momentum, Guggenheim previously upgraded Nextpower to buy with a $125 price target, while the consensus mean target among analysts stands at $155.10, reflecting continued confidence in the company's growth trajectory.
