花旗 周二表示，公司在五大主要业务板块的营收均超出华尔街预期，推动总营收同比增长9%。
花旗指出，市场业务、投行业务、服务、财富管理及美国零售部门均创下第三季度纪录。股票与固定收益交易员业绩双双超出分析师预期，共创造收入56亿美元，同比增加15%。三季度固定收益交易收入达40亿美元，高于上年同期的36亿美元；股票交易收入为15亿美元。公司称，其市场部门的主经纪业务规模同比大增44%，创历史新高。
公司支出增长9%，主要由于上月底宣布的协议相关成本，该协议涉及花旗在Banamex上市前出售部分股权。薪酬与福利支出也有所上升。
