Kerry Logistics (00636.HK) surged more than 6% for the second consecutive session, climbing 6.04% to HK$8.6 by midday with a turnover of HK$59.6 million. The rally follows U.S. Treasury Secretary Bessent's indication that the impending deadline for the U.S.-China tariff truce remains flexible, easing market concerns. Negotiations between the two nations are described as "progressing positively," with formal talks anticipated within weeks. DBS analysts highlighted Kerry Logistics' strategic advantage, noting its expansive Southeast Asian network positions it to capitalize on the "China+1" manufacturing diversification trend. Enhanced operational synergies with parent company SF Holding—which acquired Kerry in 2021 to strengthen its Southeast Asian cross-border delivery, international freight forwarding, and supply chain capabilities—are expected to drive sustained growth. As Asia's premier third-party logistics provider operating across 59 countries, Kerry Logistics maintains dominant freight forwarding positions, ranking 11th globally in air cargo and 9th in sea freight for 2024.
