A recent social media post titled "JI Hotel Guest Notes Showcase" has sparked controversy online. The account, named "JI Hotel Dalian xx," publicly shared special instructions left by multiple guests in their bookings. Examples included requests such as "Please do not put chrysanthemum tea in the room, I am allergic to chrysanthemums" and "Please provide two extra bottles of water, I am the reincarnation of a water buffalo." The account captioned the posts with comments like "Laughing so hard I'm pounding the table every day from guest notes" and "The front desk has fainted from laughter in the system."

Some internet users expressed concern, stating, "An account representing a hotel publicly shared guests' order notes without permission, leading to unnecessary and even malicious speculation in the comments." Regarding the incident, a reporter contacted the involved hotel on April 16. A staff member responded that the account which posted the content was not an official hotel account, and they were unsure who had created it. The reporter then contacted the customer service of H World Group Limited. A representative stated that after verification, the account was confirmed to belong to an employee's personal account. The group has since required the employee to immediately deactivate the account and has issued a circular criticism against them.
