GOFINTECH QUANT (00290) has surged over 6% once again, bringing its cumulative gain since November 6th to more than 80%. At the time of writing, the stock was up 6.05%, trading at HK$2.98, with a turnover of HK$13.16 million.
The recent price movement follows the company's announcement of the completion of a loan capitalization. A total of 459 million capitalization shares were issued to the lender, Liu Zhiwei, at HK$1.28 per share, amounting to a consideration of approximately HK$587 million, which will be settled by offsetting a loan repayment of the same amount.
Following the allotment and issuance of the capitalization shares, Liu Zhiwei's stake in GOFINTECH QUANT increased from 17.49% to 21.46%.
