The "2026 Caijing Annual Conference: Forecasts and Strategies & 2025 Global Wealth Management Forum" was held in Beijing from December 18 to 20, 2025. Kimco, Deloitte China's Head of Innovation and Digital Services, stated that the explosive growth of technologies like large language models and intelligent agents this year has prompted corporate leaders to elevate AI to a strategic priority. However, common misconceptions persist in industry transformation—overemphasizing technical investment while neglecting foundational elements such as data governance and organizational alignment. Blindly following AI trends without deep understanding of application scenarios has led to disappointing ROI.

Kimco emphasized that successful digital-intelligent transformation requires four key elements: 1. **Organizational Capability Alignment**: Senior executives must enhance their understanding of digitalization to break down cross-disciplinary barriers. 2. **Process Reengineering**: Build "AI organizations" by leveraging closed-loop capabilities of large models and intelligent agents, redefining human-machine collaboration workflows. 3. **Data Governance**: Accumulate high-quality datasets and enable seamless data flow across systems to lay the groundwork for large model applications. 4. **Ecosystem Collaboration**: Partner with tech firms to compensate for digital capability gaps and achieve resource synergies.

Looking ahead, Kimco predicted, "We firmly believe that AI applications—deeply embedded in business scenarios and spanning full chains—will undoubtedly become a defining feature in the next three to five years." Emerging areas like global asset allocation and digital currencies will also drive new digital demands. He advised institutions to systematically plan transformation pathways, avoid reckless investments, and strike a balance between innovation and risk management for sustainable growth.
