Hannon Armstrong Sustainable Infrastructure Capital's stock surged 5.22% in after-hours trading following the release of its fourth quarter and full year 2025 financial results, which exceeded analyst expectations across key metrics.

The sustainable infrastructure investor reported full year Adjusted Earnings Per Share of $2.70, beating the consensus estimate of $2.66. For the fourth quarter, the company posted Adjusted EPS of $0.67, surpassing the $0.64 estimate, while sales of $114.811 million also topped expectations. A significant driver was the record $4.3 billion in new investments closed during 2025, representing an 87% year-over-year increase.

Further supporting investor optimism, the company provided a positive future outlook, expecting Adjusted EPS in the range of $3.50 to $3.60 by 2028 and projecting an Adjusted Return on Equity of more than 17%. The board also declared an increased quarterly cash dividend of $0.425 per share for the first quarter of 2026.
