On April 1, the 14th Energy Storage International Summit and Exhibition (ESIE 2026) commenced in Beijing. CALB participated as an "AI + Energy, Zero-Carbon Solution Provider" and officially launched its "Zhijiu" series of next-generation long-cycle energy storage cells during a press conference held on the first day of the event. The series includes three models with capacities of 392Ah, 588Ah, and 661Ah.

The newly introduced "Zhijiu" series long-cycle energy storage cells cover three capacity versions and were developed based on the company's one-year mass production and delivery experience with its 314Ah Gen2.0 ultra-long cycle energy storage cells. Key product parameters include a cycle life of 15,000 cycles, a calendar life of 25 years, and zero capacity decay within the first three years.

The achievement of a long cycle life is attributed to systematic optimizations of the cathode, anode, and electrolyte materials. CALB has pioneered the large-scale application of pre-lithiation technology within the industry. For the cathode, the addition of a pre-lithiation agent enhances initial capacity and cycle stability. Regarding the electrolyte, a proprietary additive improves the stability of the Cathode Electrolyte Interphase (CEI) film, effectively suppressing side reactions between the cathode material and the electrolyte and significantly mitigating gas generation issues commonly associated with pre-lithiation, achieving "lithiation without gas addition." For the anode, a high-strength granulation process and an artificial SEI interface design are employed to enhance structural stability.

This series of cells is primarily targeted at applications such as renewable energy integration, grid fluctuation regulation, AIDC, and zero-carbon industrial parks. They are designed to meet the long-life requirements of energy storage systems under frequent usage, supporting the goal of a 25-year lifecycle aligned with "solar and storage co-lifespan."

During the press conference, CALB, in collaboration with Bingwu Digital Intelligence, also launched a zero-carbon software foundation product named the "Zero-Carbon Ark" energy management platform. This platform is positioned as an intelligent energy hub for industrial parks and cities. Technologically, the "Zero-Carbon Platform" utilizes AI algorithms to aggregate data from generation, grid, load, and storage segments, enabling collaborative optimization and building urban energy hubs. In terms of implementation, CALB is adopting a gradual "from park to city" strategy, using zero-carbon parks as the minimal unit for pilot demonstrations before progressively expanding to broader regional coordination, ultimately aiming for intelligent dispatch and zero-carbon transformation in smart zero-carbon cities.

Currently, the full-scenario zero-carbon ecosystem demonstration project for the "Zero-Carbon Ark" has completed market validation and is set to enter the batch delivery phase. At the exhibition, CALB also delivered an in-depth presentation titled "Zero-Carbon Ark · Smart Future – CALB's AI+Energy Empowers a New Ecosystem for Zero-Carbon Parks," sharing technical details and application cases of its zero-carbon solutions.
